Fetomaternal outcomes of emergency obstetric hysterectomy in a tertiary care teaching hospital in eastern India: A prospective study

To evaluate frequency, indications, demographic characters and the fetomaternal outcomes of emergency obstetric hysterectomy in a tertiary care teaching hospital Eastern India. Prospective, unicentric study. Records all cases undergoing operation theatre department obstetrics gynecology during study period were analyzed as per required variables data was processed to results. : A total 22 hysterectomies carried out period, 7 (31.81%) following vaginal delivery 15 (68.18%) or caesaren section. The incidence 0.63 thousand deliveries. mean age subjects 26.81 ± 1.11 years. Placenta accreta spectrum most frequent indication for (36.36%).
